Gear

The club has a large amount of equipment for use on club trips and by club members on separate trips. Some of what you can borrow:

  • Ropes

  • Trad Climbing Racks

  • Quickdraws and Clipstick

  • Guide Books - Book List

  • Maps

  • Crampons

  • Ice Axes

  • Stoves

  • Wetsuits

  • Buoyancy Aids

  • Other Camping Equipment

Rules For Borrowing

  • Club trips take priority.

  • Gear does not need to be hired for the club day trips and Wednesday afternoon climbing.

  • Gear is loaned for 1 week (ask the gear secretaries if you would like more time).

  • Ask the exec if you need to borrow/return gear so we can sign it in/out.

  • Kit must be returned dry, clean and immediately usable.

If any gear is lost or damaged when renting, it must be replaced!
