Winter Climbing encompasses a wide variety of activities, from scrambles up gullies to full blown ice climbs with technical axes. We are lucky enough to be in reach of  both Scotland  and the Lake District and their fantastic winter oppurtunities. Snow and ice can completely change the landscape of an area and bring new challenges and sights to a day out that make it even more exciting than before.

Every year around January/Feburary we run a winter skills trip to the Cairngorms where instructors go through the ins and outs of getting around in winter. We can't recommend this trip enough as it's a fantastic experience and sets you up for more winter activites in the future.
